Blackened Salmon

Melt the butter on low in a small saucepan. Add everything except for the salmon and simmer for 1 minute. Cool in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.

Preheat oven to 375.

Pat dry the salmon fillets. Spread blackening paste onto top of each fillet.

Turn on the exhaust fan. Heat non-stick pan on high for 2 minutes. Place salmon, spice-side down, in pan and sear for 30-45 seconds.

Transfer to baking sheet, spice-side up. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes or until interior temperature of 160.

Serve hot or cooled with cucumber salad.
